    Bonsai scissors - Super sharp - Precise

    Super sharp bonsai clippers. I use them for my Chinese elm but also for deadheading my garden roses. No issue with cutting but obviously not meant for thick branches – you use these for soft new growth or thin branches of a bonsai. The Japanese Yasugi steel blades stay sharp and the lightweight handles make them comfortable for longer sessions.     I was very impressed with this tool. It is a fantastic addition to my garden equipment. It is well crafted and refined in strong Japanese steel, making it great for light and heavy tasks.The knife comes in a leather sheath which keeps its edge from getting damaged whilst maximising safety. It has two different edges, one a finely honed edge and the other serrated, which really helps when using it to either edge or weed a lawn. It cuts through hard dry ground and grass runners seamlessly. I used it in the middle of this summer’s heatwave to remove dandelions from my lawn and it was just so quick and easy, with little visible damage or a hole left behind.As well as being a great weeding tool, it also doubles as a small trowel. Its narrowness really makes it easy to use to pot or repot plants.Lastly, the handle has a very comfortable grip to it and it is also lightweight and balanced. I would highly recommend this product.

    Did a great job of restoring my favourite knife - easy to use too!

    I've never really been skilled enough to use a steel for anything more than light honing, and most domestic knife sharpeners are either ineffective or brutal...This is neither. This is subtle, controlled but powerful, and did a great job of restoring my favourite but sadly mistreated knife giving it a fresh sharp edge. It's surprisingly theraputic to use, and extremely straightforward since the blade is held still and at exactly the right angle by the magnet base, and the sharpening surface is held vertical by default. No more worries I'm making things worse.You can see this sort of tool at very high prices, but this seems to work fine and at £14.99 at time of review seems like good value to me.
