Simple Design But Extremely Effective . . .

I bought these shears to keep my topiary in good shape and I'm very pleased I did. Like many Japanese garden tools the design is simple but extremely effective. The blades are razor sharp and the shape allows for delicate pruning and trimming aided by the light weight. They also cope well with heavier growth though I would not use them extensively for that purpose.

Very sharp and easy to use. Twist the blades, not your wrist, very comfortable. Light and locks well.

Mind your fingers!

Excellent for giving the grass edges a trim. The garden looked very smart with its new hair cut. Blades are sharp but always put some oil on after use.

Perfect for grass - not sure why some people expect these scissors to cut plant stems/branches

Absolutely brilliant- makes light work of trimming grass:- where lawn meets step up sun deck- lawn edges against level patio- around obelisk & rise arch- around trees in the lawn- edges to pebbled water featureCan’t believe I didn’t know there was such a tool before now, being using regular kitchen scissors as a strimmer was to harsh and it was back breaking work - not now!! Very happy customer.

Easy to use.

I suffer with arthritus and these shears make life so much easier, a low gardening stool and can get surprising aamount of cutting done. really recommend these shears, really good product.

Great Grass Edging Shears

I am a professional gardener and have always used Wolf Garten grass shears previously. But due to the fact that they no longer sell them in uk. I had to look elswhere. Now I have tried some shockers. I will not name, but are well known uk brands. So having searched I thought I would try these. I have other Japanese tools so felt I was making a good choice. I have not been disappointed. They are superb and only having used about a week. I have found they are well worth the money. Sharp, lovely blade , easy lock, easily rotated, light and a pleasure to use. Kimura has gained a customer. Highly recommend.

Very sharp

Good quality Razor sharp lifetime warranty blades were lightly oiled on delivery to keep them in tip top condition handle very comfortable ( if a bit plastic to keep cost dow I presume but still sturdy ) rotating blades very sturdy and easy to use all in all top marks

Small garden shears

Can’t give a 5 yet as I haven’t used it enough. So far so good. Will update when it’s been put to use a bit more .

Lighter than I thought

Very light in weight but work for what we want . This is a positive as edging makes your arms ache so practical.
