Very Good

This holster appears to be really well made from good quality materials.Below the mesh line is some sort of suede leather liner that snags the secateur tightening nut if you insert the secateurs 'nut side in'. If you insert 'nut side out', the nut catches on the top mesh edging both on insertion and retrieval, making it almost a two handed affair to take the secateurs out of the holster.The belt hanging loop is a fixed affair with neat well finished riveting but it means you have to partially slip your belt out from your waistband loops, through the holder loop and back through your waistband loops, making the holster either a semi-permanent belt fixture or a slight nuisance to fit/remove. This could have been avoided if the belt loop had used either press studs or decent velcro to slip over the belt and then affix in place. I've previously 'deconstructed' a holster like this and retrofitted velcro, so it can be done...A dedicated belt is another solution, I suppose.Being new, the holster is quite stiff but it's hoped that it will loosen up a bit in use and become more insertion/removal friendly.In summary, I like the holster - I just wish it was more 'fitting friendly', more supple and didn't snag the nut.Recommended

Excellent product, well made and robust.

I tried ordering these before as I have the same brand secateurs but they were out of stock, when I ordered them again I was excited to get them paired up as I do gardening two days a week and they both work well together.

Very good holster

Great secateur holster. Strong and durable construction. I wear quite a wide belt 40mm it fits the belt loop with a bit of room to spare. Wide opening so its easy to slip the secateurs in to re-holster them. Highly recommend this product.

Works well and holds cutters securely

Secateurs slip in and out of the holster easily and are secure in it. Seems fairly robust, but I've only been wearing it for a few days

Well made and very pleased

I've had a similar holster for a while (different brand), so I can attest to how useful it is to be able to keep your secateurs on your belt rather than keep on putting them down. It's worn out now though, hence getting this one. I like it overall, but my previous one had a metal clip rather than a belt loop, so it was possible to put it on / take it off your belt more easily, without having to undo the belt from your trousers.I find it easy enough to get the secateurs in and out of without having to look down at it, which might sound like a small thing but if you it a lot that's quite useful.Quality is pretty good so it should last a good while before wearing out. Other tools of a similar size and shape would also fit into it quite nicely.

PACKAGING: Clear plastic bagPRODUCT: PU leather and fabric holster for secateursFUNCTIONALITY: Apparently PU leather is an artificial leather made of thermoplastic polymer (so it is considered vegan if it is 100% PU). It is cheaper than leather and doesn't absorb water. On the down side, it can look fake, it can crack and tear over time and since it is made of plastic, it isn't the most eco-friendly.Yes, this holster does look like fake leather, but it also appears robust and well made. The belt loop is made from canvas and is large enough to accommodate a wide belt. The holster has a net type top section. I am at a loss to know why it has been made this way. I cannot see the benefit or the intended purpose. It just seems like a weak point in the design to me, as I can see the point of my secateurs catching on this as I insert them.Also, the top is very slightly tapered in, so it is narrower at the top. The corners are held together by rivets. Again, I can't see the benefit of having the top tapered in, it just prevents larger tools being inserted.My Darlac Bypass secateurs fit in nicely and remained in place throughout the day.At the time of my review the secateurs were £14.99, which I think is a little steep.
