Good kit

Looks a good bit of kit to reach those awkward areas on a thick hedge. As yet unused

Top quality.

I needed a new pair of loppers. The hedge I was trimming had branches too thick for my battery hedge trimmer. After reading reviews, the Kimura came out top. I wasn't disappointed.Spend a little more money for a top quality product . . . and who doesn't love a lifetime warranty?

Highly recommended

These loppers are great. I had a lot of heavy-duty work I needed them for, so opted for these. To start with I thought they were a bit expensive, but having used them I think that in fact they are well priced. They go through wood of around an inch thick like a hot knife through butter, making a large job short and sweet. Overall, they are not expensive for what you get, they are tough and sharp, comfortable to use, good quality, light weight and well worth getting. I would highly recommend these for anyone who wants a brilliant bit of kit for tough jobs.

Great loppers

Great loppers. Easy to cut through branches and they extend easily by twisting the end of the handles. Highly recommend

Well made and effective loppers.

So far so good. Loppers are sharp and well made. I've used it to cut back some massive ivy and it has worked well, in conjunction with using a bow saw for thicker stems. The twist action required to extend the handles was very stiff at first and it wasn't that obvious how to turn them. Now I've figured out how it works, its fine and seems to be easing up. Might be tricky for somebody with weaker fingers.I've learned from other loppers to use the extra length for reaching, NOT for addition leverage. With extended (therefore less 'chunky') handles and too much pressure there is a danger that the handles will bend. So I'm not pushing it too hard . Nevertheless the blade gets through pretty thick stems.

Goes through tree branches very easily

Made pruning the trees in the back garden very easy.Had been using a pair borrowed from a neighbour, but these are so much better, razor sharp.

Great lopper

These look great, the handle length will help get higher, and the ratchet mechanism should make the cut easier and will definitely do the jobs in my garden.

Nice quality.

Actually purchased these as a present for someone else so I have not used them to cut anything. However, I checked them over and they appear good quality and robust. The system to extend and lock the handles is rather clever and better than ones I have used previously (you twist a knob on the bottom of each handle).

Loppers

Does what it says

Light but rugged.

These will be a very good buy. They are very sturdy, but light in weight compared to previous loppers that I’ve had. They cut through thick, tough branches with ease and leave a very neat cut surface. The knobs at the ends of the arms which control their extension are a bit fiddly, but will probably become easier with use. I am very pleased, especially at the price charged.

Superb Loppers So Far.

This is my first purchase of a Kimura product, and I am very pleased with them so far. They are lightweight, but strong . The build quality is good, and hopefully all the pivot points on the blades will remain secure. The blades themselves are very sharp. The locking mechanism to secure the handles in the extended position is quite unique, and much better than any I have had before ( I have had many pairs over the years as a gardener). They are also competitively priced considering the quality. I am very happy with this purchase, but if they fall to pieces after six months, I will update this review!

The Best Loppers I have ever Had, Guaranteed for Life.

These Loppers are the best I have ever had. The Blade is sharp, the Kimura Loppers went through a Branch that broke my old Loppers, like a Knife through Butter. The Loppers are light, the Extension system is easy to use, and locks well, so safe to use, when Extended. Considering I have a Lifetime Guarantee, I feel £40 is Good Value for the Kimura Loppers, which are clearly 1st Class.

Radiate Good Quality and Cut So Well

Radiating good quality, these loppers (the version with compound action, not the ratchet version, in my case) easily cut yew tree branches up to 35mm thick into small sections, after I had to use a recip electric saw to take out those branches from the tree before ordering the loppers. For the thicker pieces I extended the handles to full length to make cutting more manageable. For the lifetime guarantee, go to the Kimura website and enter Amazon order number etc. I chose the compound version as I want to make each cut in one motion, not the multiple motions that a ratchet requires. I have good arm strength but for someone with less strength I can imagine that the ratchet version would be helpful if you have to cut through tough wood that is towards the 35/40mm limit in thickness. Very pleased with these loppers, proud to own them.

Fantastic

I only have a small gdn, so didn't want to spend much, didn't want cheap either. Used them a lot already as I've just had to take down a very large Potatoe vine.Cut through some really thick branches with ease.Good adjustment screw on the bottom of the handles, no chance of accidently changing the length of the handels.Extremely light as well. Thought the box was empty when they got delivered.

Very good quality and fit . Very happy .

Wehave used them a couple of times and the lady of the house finds them to her satisfaction . Sharpness appears to be as described . Only time will tell . But first impressions are that they are easy to use for a lady with not a particularly strong grip . So Yes I would recommend them

It can cut easily

First, to correct my words, "comparing not reviewing". Second, it can cut "35mm not cm" Need a lumberjack for that!. I haven't review a product before. As the description suggest it makes the cutting by up to 3x and I feel like it truly did. When fully extended to cut about 35mm branch there is a little bend on the handle. The previous one that I returned flexes a lot that I decided to return it as I worry it will not last. Highly recommended for the cutting ability but not the build yet. With lifetime warranty, I think I should not worry about it. Equally, the secateur from Kimura is also amazing. It is sharp and cut clean and I am pleased to say, it still does after 2 years and I have not sharpened it yet. It is used almost daily. I maintain a formal garden of about 2 acres. Well, of course some are just lawn.
