Pro Staple Gun & Tacker

This is an excellent staple gun with 500 staples included (5 types, 100 of each!) The build quality feels solid, and the gun is comfortable to hold. There is a clip on one side so you can hook it onto your belt, and you can actually take this clip off and put it on the reverse side if that is more natural for you. This clip is sturdy and is a nice touch I didn't expect. The lever is easier to press down on than other staple guns my partner has used. You need to put the staples at the bottom of the gun, and this took several minutes to figure out - especially with the assorted staple shapes. But once this part is clear, the staple gun is very straightforward to use. My partner was able to punch through thick wood with the metal staples included. They are firmly in place and the "power adjuster" was very obvious and effective. You can see from my photo the staple that went through with low power, next to the high power one. It is very handy to own something that supports many different uses, and we already bigger projects in mind. Other things to mention would be the gun not being wholly made from metal, but it is robust all the same. It comes nicely greased. My gun was made in Taiwan. The price definitely could be more competitive but this is a good staple gun and better than the one we have already!

This staple gun arrived in a plastic retail package that also contains a box of five different staple types (100 of each).My old stapler has seen better days and the difference when using this one was enormous. It’s powerful and drives staples cleanly (see video).To load it you simply pull the slide out, drop the staples into the bottom of the body, push the slide back in and you’re ready to go. Even though it has some adjustment you do need quite strong hands to use it.I do a lot of DIY and the versatility of this stapler in being able to handle so many different types of staple is perfect for me. I’ve already used it to staple a small wire along some wood edging and to repair some upholstery and it performed well.My only criticism is that at £50 it is rather expensive compared to similar items available at the local trade warehouse and that loses it a star.

I always find that Kimura branded tools are very good quality. This may not be the cheapest staple gun available, but it is very solidly made and feels as though it will probably outlast me.I got this stapler because I am about to re-upholster an old stool. Stapling down the cloth makes it easier to get the tension correct (pinning tends to pull the cloth unevenly).The stapler is pretty versatile and handles different staple types, as well as some pins. A selection of these is supplied with the tool but you only get 100 of each type, and you will soon run out. All of the sizes are standard, so getting more is no problem. It's not worth going for the cheaper option, if you buy a good tool like this you will only ever need to buy one.

I normally associate ’Kimura’ with decent quality gardening tools etc, not normally this sort of product. However, when the ‘Kimura 6-Type Staple Gun’ arrived it felt typically robust and well made. It’s worth noting that Kimura products come with a lifetime warranty, if you fill out the form on their website. That said, this is where it gets a bit strange, in that I can’t find any reference at all to the staple gun on the Kimura site. The instructions for use are luckily on the packaging (see photo) but I was hoping for a bit more detail on their website, particularly which staples are more useful for particular tasks etc.Still, the staple gun works well, you get a selection of 500 staples of 5 different types and it’s ideal for the tacking job I needed it for.It was originally priced at about £50, which is pricey compared to some other options out there, but this is one heavy duty staple/tack gun.

Very poor instrucction re: staples loading.When clicking on the QR code it takes me to Kimura Stores website, but not the product and when looking for this stapler on the website, I couldn't find it.I took this gun as my other one is pretty difficult to use in some situations and I hoped, Kimura will provide a btter solution.Now, it is very expensive at £50 but it is very well made and built.Once I worked out the proper position of loading staples, I tried it. Ah, and the U staples don't line up properly sometimes. I shook it and it loaded ok.It is hard to press. Very hard for me. I wanted to try it hoping it will be easier than my other staples gun.Also, it is loud! Adjusting the power, one thing it was hard (for me) to move the slider, and second, I really didn't notice much difference.I used it to staple some covers in the garden to my fence. It can be used for furniture or even stapling small cables, so it is versatile.To me, it is too hard and too expensive.

I got this item because I found out a few weeks ago that my rather ancient staple gun has rusted badly in storage out in the garage. I needed to staple a new ironing board cover on and when I used it, I found that it was in a very poor state. Our garage is unheated and rather damp in winter, so clearly the years of being exposed to damp have not done the old stapler any good at all.This one is the same type of design as my old one and will use the same range of “U” and straight staples and nails. However, it feels considerably better made than my old one, being constructed of aluminium for the outer body, with rubber padding on the handle and even a belt clip on the side, which can actually be moved from left side to right side, which is helpful for people who are left handed for example. It also has variable stapling force which my old stapler lacked.The staple gun comes with a small selection pack of staples of various types and since these are standard staples it is easy to get more as needed. The staple drawer on the gun is easy to take out and put back, and the handle has a retaining clip for storage.One thing that puzzled me for a while was how to fit the staples into the gun! There is a graphic on the base of the staple holder indicating which side of the mechanism to put the staples in, but I could not figure out how to get the staples to load properly so they were tensioned against the staple head. My old stapler had a sprung insert in the staple holder that you removed, loaded staples and then put back. On this stapler I could see the spring mechanism, but there appeared to be no way to remove it. Eventually, I realised that I was being dumb and the staples are not loaded from the rear. You unclip the holder and pull it back, then load the staples into the base of the gun while holding it upside down. Once loaded, you press the spring mechanism back in until it clicks and then your staples are loaded and ready to use. Easy when you know how, and to be fair, there is an instruction on the package insert to explain how to load the staples (which of course I had not read before attempting to load the staples).

This Kimura 6-Type Staple Gun is good quality. It feels well made and finished to a good standard. I found it sturdy and durable. It feels comfortable to hold and straight forward to use. It can use a good variety of staples and loading them into the gun is straight forward to do. I used it to upcycle a stool for my little ones desk and attach some bunting to her wendy house. The power of the staple gun can be adjusted for the job required. The higher the power, the more power you need to use to press the lever. I googled to find out what was best to use for the chair as I didn't want to damage it with too much power. This staple gun works well for jobs around the home, though I am sure you would need something better for professional jobs. But for what I needed it for, it done the job and done it well!

This Kimura staple gun appealed because of the varied staple types it's suitable for.It's of a sturdy Aluminium construction and definitely feels rugged. The trigger handle is rubberised so comfortable when using.Will fireType 53 / Type 140 / T-50 / JT21 / T25 / 53/13 Staples and F15 & P15 nailsThe depth/power adjustment makes minor difference, I found that highest the staples are slightly below the surface of the wood I was stapling onto and lowest setting they were slightly proud... Perhaps different materials might make more difference.No jamming while I've been using it, I've only really been using stainless type 140 staplesEasy to load staples into and easy to fire (it is a little stiff). Comes with a small box of staples, it'd have been nice to have a selection of types.I just found the price a little steep despite it's diverse choice of staple options. (£50 at point of ordering)

I've been helping my son do up his flat and one of the jobs we've had to do is fixing down carpet underlay after having all the floors up for various reasons. This staple gun made the job almost a pleasure compared to my old one. It's all metal and therefore a professional grade tool, which got the job done with no fuss. I like the selection of different sized staples that came with it, and it also accepted a selection of staples that I already had in stock.A little expensive but I think you get what you pay for with tools. And this is a quality bit of kit. Therefore, highly recommended.

This is a good quality staple gun. Its a hefty weight but in a good way, feels quality. Not too heavy to operate easily. Hasnt jammed so far when using it, i did find it a bit confusing regarding what staples would work with this as its the first gun ive used, so maybe thats on me, fitting the staples i found a bit hard too, but again its probably me! however once they were in, it works well, i actually stapled a corner of my tapestry to a wall to see if it worked , sorry landlord... and yes it did work really well. Oops. Its a versatile stapler, works well on bed slats too. Ideal if you need a staple gun.
